Thank you to our community, you are very generous to Genesis House and the gifts and donations that we receive go a long way in helping women and children flee from domestic abuse. Below is a list of items that we consistently need at our shelter. COVID – 19 has changed some of the way donations are accepted and unfortunately, because of the lack of storage that we have we are not always able to accept in-kind donations.
Before any in-kind donation is made, please contact the staff at Genesis House by calling 204-325-9957 then press 0 (Monday – Friday, 9am – 4:30pm). Contacting the shelter before hand will also ensure no intake is being done as to respect the women and children that may be using our shelter. Thank you for understanding.
