Since 1984, Genesis House has been committed to empowering individuals and families to rebuild their lives and thrive. In a continuous effort to best serve the community and bring awareness to the Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) crisis, Genesis House is launching a new logo for the organization.
The new logo maintains the recognizable Genesis red and yellow colors, symbolizing hope, strength, and resilience. However, it now features an updated statistic, boldly show-casing the reality that one in three women in Canada have been victims of abuse. This change not only reflects the sobering truth but also underscores the urgent need for continued advocacy, support, and awareness. This rebranding initiative also signifies our commitment to providing a safe haven for all individuals, irrespective of their background, race, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
The updated logo will be implemented across all Genesis House materials, including outreach materials, and digital platforms. It will serve as a constant reminder of the organization’s mission to empower survivors, challenge societal norms, and foster a future free from domestic abuse.
Genesis House invites community members, supporters, and advocates to join them in spreading awareness and standing in solidarity with survivors. Together, we can create a world where all people can live free from fear and violence.
