Support Groups

Our support groups are facilitated by trained staff who ensure a respectful, inclusive, and trauma-informed space. Participants are encouraged to share at their own pace.

There is never any pressure.

How We Support You

We offer a range of trauma-informed services designed to meet your unique needs:

One-on-one emotional support in a safe and non-judgemental space

Crisis intervention and safety planning

Referrals to medical, legal, and community resources

Guidance through reporting processes, if and when you choose

Ongoing support tailored to your healing journey

Specific Groups Include:

When Love Hurts: A structured program in three phases, supporting women to recognize unhealthy relationship patterns, understand dynamics of abuse, and take steps toward safety and empowerment.

Indigenous Cultural Programming: Honouring culture, traditions, and connection to community, these programs incorporate ceremonies, teachings, and culturally relevant supports.

Anger Management Groups: Helping participants recognize triggers, express emotions safely, and develop tools for healthier interactions.

Variety Groups: Additional groups addressing parenting, self-care, trauma processing, and peer support, tailored to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Each group is centred on connection, support, and personal growth, allowing participants to learn, share, and heal in a safe community.

Sexual Assault Program

Our Sexual Assault Program provides compassionate, confidential support for individuals who have experienced sexual violence. We understand that reaching out can be difficult, and our team is here to listen, support, and guide you at your own pace.

Services are available to individuals throughout south-central Manitoba who are seeking guidance, resources, counselling, and emotional support during times that can feel overwhelming and uncertain.

Our approach is rooted in respect, choice, and empowerment, ensuring you remain in control every step of the way.

Community Education

Education plays a vital role in preventing violence and supporting healthier communities. Our community education initiatives are designed to increase awareness, provide practical knowledge, and encourage meaningful conversations around safety, relationships, and well-being.
