Clearwater Place is a transitional housing facility designed to help women and their children move beyond crisis and into long-term stability.
We are excited to add to our services by adding this next step in the continuum of care. Research has shown that a stay at a transitional housing facility significantly increases the chances that people will end the cycle of violence.
This project represents more than just housing: it’s a lifeline for those seeking to rebuild their lives. With stable and secure transitional housing, women and children can regain their independence and thrive.
In addition to housing, the facility provides support services and resources to assist survivors in developing the skills needed to obtain or maintain employment, get established financially, become self-sufficient, and begin to cope with their trauma.
At Clearwater Place, residents will have access to:
Safe, subsidized housing in a supportive environment
Continued connection to counselling and support services
On-site childcare centre
Life skills development and goal planning
Assistance with housing, employment, and financial stability
A community rooted in respect, care, and encouragement
